Major Update Cancelled Covid-19
Because of the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 crisis, we had to make the decision to cancel the 2020 edition of BOTP (Battle of the Prospectors). Because it was planned for the end of the summer, we were hoping to keep it on the 2020 calendar but it is clear that this is not possible for this summer. See you in 2021!
Runners from Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and even the United States will take part in the brand new Battle of the Prospectors event on August 29-30, 2020 in Murdochville.
It is an enduro motorcycle race of the "Hard Enduro" type (Enduro extreme) which stands out by the difficulty of the terrain, the gradient but also by the beautiful landscapes. A very spectacular race in sight!
The name obviously evokes the mining aspect of the area. The organizer wanted to pay tribute to all those who worked at the Murdochville copper mine.
